Story

The plains in the lands of crudilex are peppered with strange sphereical objects. Black iron balls of immence power that when interacted with for too long a time begin to controt and warp those who draw from its power. First it addles the mind and slowly plaes the skin eventually the user is unrecognizeable. A violent arcana weilding abberation.​

These creatures wander the grassy feilds seeking more and more of the orbs endlessly. some wear shrouds, still present of mind enough to feel shame for what they have become.

​Combat

The Iv-warped hunger for mana, they target casters First but if attacked by closer enemies they will use there tenitcal slam and try and get them charmed so that they can use borrowed might to get them to target weaker enemies. 

​

There drive is to consume as much magic as possible.

Story

The Pith, born of iv, are far more suseptible to the lingering influences of the god of gods. The fragments of iv that litter the plains of averice have powerful corrupting effects on these half-real creatures. 

​

Becuase of this many of there kind have become obsessed with consolidating these artifacts. Some going as far as beliving when the innumaerable fragments are collected the meaning of existience will be made clear to them. 

​

In persut of this idea came the pithidic Rebuke. A group of pith supremisists who will stop at nothing short of ending this world to fullfill this goal.

Sense Magic: The chuul senses magic within 120 feet of it at will. This trait otherwise works like the Detect Magic spell but isn't itself magical.
​
Arcane Hunger: Any Magic Item the Iv-warped touches Enchantment begins to fade it's essence drained. if a magic Weapon hit them After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to Damage Rolls. If its penalty drops to -5, the Magic vanishes (For 1d4 days). magical ammunition that hits the Iv-Warped is destroyed after dealing damage.
All other magic items it touches Enchantment vanishes (for 1d4 days)

ACTIONS
Multiattack. The Iv-Warped makes two pincer attacks. If the chuul is grappling a creature, the chuul can also use its tentacles once.
​
Tentacle slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) Phyic damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 14) if it is a Medium or smaller creature and the Iv-warped doesn't have two other creatures grappled. 
​
Tentacles: One creature Grappled by the Iv-warped must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be Charmed for 1 minute. Wail charmed magic items its holding are effected by Arcane Hunger
​
Barrowed might: One creature Grappled by the Iv-warped who is currently charmed may be moved withen 10ft of the iv-warped and makes an attack at a non-charmed creature.

reACTIONS
​
Consume Mana: Dispel a spell of 3rd level or lower. when the aberrant dose so it gains 10 hp. To do so it must see the caster and seeded a DC:13 Arcana check.

Story

Giants, tree ents, even golems. None are safe from the intoxicating pull of the fragments of iv. Larger being tend to have more mass and thus warp into more horrifingy powerful abberations capible of inflicting true harm upon the plain.
