Rulership

The ruler of THE PYRAMID SLAVEPORT ON THE COAST OF THE MAINLAND IS UNDENIABLY BIG CHEIF MOGUMOGU. wHO RULES WITH AN ARMY OF SLAVES AND SOLDIERS. Wail growing into an old age mogumogu is considered a unforgiving but fair ruler by those who live on the edge of the jungle.

Food.

The food of Triton varies very little. The islands don't lend themselves well to farming so much of the Food collected comes from hunting and gathering. Pineapples, Coconuts, Pork, and fish are among the most common meals in a Tritoner's Diet. The people of triton love there spicy food. A dish from this region can be expected to have a half and half mix of sweet and spicy ingredients.

Because of this trail rations are very rare and food spoils very quickly.

Holidays

gALU's Day:

Celebration of The tiki god of Sea and Hunger. it is said Originally humans did not feed on each other. Galu would construct bridges like spider-webs between the islands. When people would cross those bridges Galu would shake them, causing the mortals to fall to their deaths below, following which they would be devoured by the sea beast.

Eventually the army of the Lizardfolk and orc attacked him and succeeded in slaying him. His godly essence entered all of them, Driving the the Orcs who betrayed him mad with Hunger they ate the Tiki gods remains in a form of poetic justice, only to find themselves cursed with cannibalistic hunger after doing so. After 10 generations of these Orc died there remains rose and walked into the sea where the mussel and bone reformed Galu.

 

the celebration is held in the winter. It is marked by the first death from drowning where by the tribe feasts upon there body to pay respects to Galu and plee forgivness for there ansestors actions.

Lagi's Day:

Celebration of the Tiki God of Sky and Storms. One of the sky mother's early acts was to use her nets made of rain and lightning to Capture the sun-fish and the moon-fish and set them in the heavens. The two take turns leaping through the sky, but like other flying fish eventually need to land back in the sea. Lagi rode the sun-fish across the sky during the months with long days but rides the moon-fish through the sky during the months with long nights. The great Eclipse was created when the sun-fish at long last mounted the moon-fish. and after the day of dawn the second sun-fish was born but the moon-fish died in childbirth. Lagi the sky mother now spends her days tending to the Moon-fish and consoling the sky-fish. 

​

The celebration is held on The first Manastorm of Cinnasom and again on the Storm of winter whereby those gathered hold a brutal fight to the death followed by an orgy to pay respects to the great-fish and entertain Lagi.

Fesitval of Afi:

Celibration of the Tiki God of Earth and Lava. Originally there was no land and the sea filled a world ruled by Galu alone. until Lagi flew down to the Crudilex in the form of a bird but complained to Afi that she had nowhere to land. Afi threw enormous boulders down from the heavenly realm of the gods to form the main island. when he did so it cracked and bled out lava forming the smaller islands. when it cooled it's heart was a golden stone which Afi carved into the Palace of Alteran.

Lagi was happy, but Gala was furious that his realm was invaded and so he created beasts to attack Afi's golden palace. Grabbing Serpents and eels and turning them into Dragons and Lizardfolk to attack the palace. Afi mischievously gleeful with his brother's anger planted volcano on the islands to erupt over and over creating more and more land slowly traping Galu. 

​

The celebration is held in spring and is marked by the first Raid of the lizardfolk on Alteran port. Druing the festival the Orcs capture lizardfolk and behead them. Pouring there blood over hot coals to feed Afi which they than walk across. The lizardfolk mark the ocasion by killing as many orc as they can and tossing there bodies into the ocean to feed Galu. Neither group holds the other accountable for these deaths after the festival is over.
